Our charity web design service gives you everything you need in your new website to receive single, one off donations from your visitors or monthly donations. We give you a form for each which can be placed on any page you like on your website. Donations will be emailed to you and saved in the Dashboard of the site so you can keep track of them and download them to Excel. Both single and monthly donations are handled securely by Stripe, so your visitors can make donations using a debit or credit card.
The donation forms ask typical questions like name, address and include marketing preferences, but also ask if the user qualifies for Gift Aid so you can claim back that tax relief on the donation. We can amend the fields so you are collecting the information that you need.
If you purchase a new website from us, we do not charge a monthly subscription fee for the donation forms, it is all covered under the cost of the website. We will need to perform occasional website updates to the site and the donation forms, but will make you aware of any costs up front.
You will pay transaction fees when donations are made. These are subject to Stripe's fee's, but are very reasonable for EU credit/debit cards. Stripe's fees are here.
The single and monthly donation forms can be added anywhere you like in your website and as many times as you want. We recommend keeping things simple for your users and not overwhelming them with forms. We will discuss with your the user journey that your visitors are likely to take and how the forms can be added in the right places.
