The Challenge
Kris has written and illustrated his own children's books - the first, titled 'Hornbeam Hollow: The Hunt for the Halloween Pumpkin' was published in 2019, and a follow-up in the series in 2020.
The client needed a new website to show his beautiful artwork and sell his books via an online shop. This modern website is quirky and fun, perfectly matching the theme of Kris's wonderful stories and characters.
Our Approach
We designed the new website to use the clients illustrations as much as possible, with large full screen banners and smaller galleries. The idea was to take the user on a mythical journey into the world of Kris Miners and his amazing characters.
The client wanted everything to be editable so we supplied a full CMS so he can add to galleries, change and add products in the shop and edit site content.
