Based in Horsham, West Sussex, The Phoenix Stroke Club are celebrating over 45 years of restoring confidence and improving communication and mobility for stroke survivors.
It was an honour to help them with their new website to help the charity attract new club members and volunteers.

The new website needed to be a window into the work of the charity, what goes on at the club, and how members enjoy and benefit from it.
It was always going to be image-heavy, showing the people and activities that make the club so special. But the approach went way beyond that. We re-architected the site, with a new sitemap, and got the client's feedback before proceeding.
Next, we attended, on different days, club meetings to get a feel for who attends and what goes on. This gave us a range of new photos to use in the banners throughout the site.
We explored wireframes with the client and then moved on to the designs, creating mockups for all of the important pages.
Finally, we built the website in an easy-to-use, CMS so they have full control to keep it up to date with news, volunteering roles, and general happenings at the club.
"The project was well managed with plenty of communication throughout the process to ensure we were happy with the content and drafts. Made Simple Media added a lot of value to the content of the site, including photography, and made some useful suggestions based on their experience. We are really happy with the end result, its been live for a few weeks now and we've already had a lot of positive feedback from visitors to the site."
