The Whitehorse Inn
The Challenge
The Whitehorse Inn in Somerset received a new owner who wanted to improve the website to better demonstrate the beauty of the building both inside and out.
We also identified that it was not immediately obvious that the pub catered for families with children too and that The Whitehorse Inn also offers excellent rooms, lodges and food.
Our Approach
It was obvious from the start that we wanted to feature large images, pulling in potential patrons and guests! It's a beautiful subject, with lots of history in a stunning location, so we really needed to show that off.
Next we designed a simple new logo and colourscheme with a historical theme, but made the website container full width to really maximise the users screen space no matter what device they are using.
The website was then built using Concrete CMS because it is easy, modern and secure. All images and copy was supplied by the client and we set up pagetypes with default content so that the client (or our team) can easily add to the site in the future.
