The Challenge
Angus is now competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB against drivers who are more well-known and have more experience. With this in mind, he wanted a website to help promote his career and document each race performance.
The website needed to stand out from the crowd to be professional, memorable and help sell the AW brand.
Our Approach
Key audiences were discussed and we worked on what they might want to see from the site. This project didn't involve much discovery work, but we looked at other motor racers websites to identify elements that we really liked. We saw things that worked well and others that didn't work so well and took inspiration from some that were more outstanding than others.
We knew early on in the process, the type of look and feel that we wanted for the project. Sketches were created to reflect this and we made sure the design would work across the site with different types of content. These were then developed into wireframes for the high fidelity designs.
We built the site on Concrete CMS so that editing would be simple and visual, much like the site. The client can update everything themselves and benefit from Concrete's speed, flexibility and security.

The project has been a huge success in the following ways...
- Increase in exposure of the "Angus Whiteside" brand
- Easy to make website updates after races etc.
- Foundation to grow and develop with Angus' career
