Our Approach

Working with the client and the clients' marketing agency, we identified massive potential in the marketplace for more online sales of properties.  We also saw there was a lot of potential to get more clients wanting to rent and landlords wishing to let out their property.  At Home have a fresh brand which is very well known in the area, so we wanted the website to live up to that, perfectly reflecting At Home, their brand and values.

We started producing an existing sitemap to show the layout of pages in the current website.  This allows us and the client to visual and assess what they currently have.  Working with the client, we identified some areas for improvement and removal of irrelevant pages and produced a new proposed sitemap as the base for the new website.

Once the sitemap was approved, we moved onto sketching ideas for the layout of the homepage in order to produce wireframes before moving onto the design phase.  We then moved onto producing the high fidelity designs using the clients branding and images.  The site is designed to be fully responsive and highly accessible for everyone, with good text size, contrast, clear navigation etc.  It is designed to really help sell the properties, with clear details and large property images.

We created an XML feed from the clients' CRM system that automatically updates the properties on the website, which runs very frequently to keep things up to date.  The website also has the ability to make changes to properties in the backend should an urgent need arise.

Using ConcreteCMS, the website is extremely flexible for creating new pages, editing title and meta tags, building links and other activities vital to helping improve and optimise the site for search engines.
