The Challenge
Cecil Macdonald are a leading supplier of branded beers, wines, spirits, and snacking products to the UK Travel Retail market.
Cecil Macdonald approached us because the old website was well out of date and the client wanted a simpler brochure site, but of high quality to appeal to their industry contacts.
The new site was to act as a way for brand owners to find out more about the clients business, when doing their research.
Our Approach
We involved the whole Leadership Team to make sure everyone had input, so we were creating a website that was going to be popular with the team. Getting this stakeholder investment means we get things right at every stage.
On the About page we featured the Leadership Team to promote transparency and connect faces to the Cecil Macdonald name. This promotes a friendly, local company, in this corporate space, who are an important player, offering their clients great service.
We created a secondary theme for Ambassadors Choice, to promote the AC branding and offer a contrast with the Cecil Macdonald side of the business.
A page was also added to showcase the clients new Snackboxes collaboration with Jaq out the Box, including a product gallery to show the Snackboxes to potential interested parties.
The website is based on an easy-to-use CMS, backed up by full agency support from our team.
