The Challenge
For almost 30 years Riskcare have been at the forefront of Fintech innovation, delivering world-class trading and risk technology.
The clients old website was not very efficient and as a result had issues page speed and up time. In addition, there were some accessibility issues with contrast and small text.
The client also felt it was too wordy and wasn't succeeding in getting the clients message across.
Our Approach
Through a series of meetings on Zoom we worked with the client to to define which pages to keep and which to remove and where everything would sit within the site. This enabled us to produce the new sitemap which in turn lead us to the wireframing stage.
We wireframed all the key pages within the site so the client was kept up to date on progress and we could easily change the layout before moving onto the high fidelity designs.
In the design stage we were careful to avoid the accessibility issues of the old website. A good level of contrast was used throughout with well-sized text and all the usual technical considerations such as alt attributes, semantically correct mark-up etc.
Using a more up to date version of ConcreteCMS and building the site from the ground up to be much more efficient, the new site is fast and less text-heavy to put across key messages to users.
