The Challenge
Stanford Skiing are a small and friendly business, running exceptional ski breaks. The company has been established in Megève, one of the biggest ski areas in France, for over 25 years.
The client needed a more modern looking website, that maintained their search engine rankings and delivered a fast-loading experience for busy customers to book their skiing holidays direct with them.
Our Approach
We took the client through a planning stage for the new website, including sitemap to orgranise the page structure and wireframes to explore and perfect the new page layout.
It was important that the team at Stanford Skiing could make updates in-house, so we based the website on a cutting edge platform, Concrete CMS. To make the site super-fast we employed Litespeed cache, which serves snapshots, making dynamic pages loads just as fast as static ones.
We added easy-to-update galleries on the accomodation pages to show off what they offer and various web forms to help encourage site visitors to get in touch. The site also features maps and resources so users can download more information about the local area and restaurants etc.
Since 2017 we have looked after Stanford Skiing as a good client of ours and the companies new owners continue to enjoy our excellent customer service.
